Virgin Atlantic carries 5.5 million passengers annually and flies to 25 destinations in 15 countries. In March, the carrier introduced an economy cabin fare structure featuring Economy Delight, Economy Classic and Economy Light. Also this year, Virgin Atlantic announced plans to shift its London-Las Vegas service from Gatwick Airport to Heathrow in 2019 and to increase frequencies on service from London to Los Angeles and London to Boston. Virgin Atlantic spent 2018 working through the regulatory process to transform its two-way joint venture partnership with Delta into a three-way partnership that also includes Air France-KLM.
