The 2,666-passenger Nieuw Statendam is a platform for the line's new generation of shipboard activities, including the Music Walk, with clustered stages for jazz, classical, blues and rock music, and Destination Central, a hub designed to help passengers get the most from off-ship adventures. There's interesting art everywhere on the ship. It is bigger than the line's past ships and straddles a line between tradition and innovation in its design and feel.
