In 2004, expedition company Lindblad Expeditions partnered with one of the most storied names in nature photography. The two are now joined at the hip, with a fleet of five small ships operated by Lindblad, whose founder, Lars-Eric Lindblad, was the first to bring tourists to Antarctica by ship. In December, Lindblad will launch its sixth ship, the 100-passenger National Geographic Venture.
