AmaWaterways

Founded in 2002 by Rudi Schreiner, Kristin Karst and Jimmy Murphy, AmaWaterways has 17 vessels in its European fleet, including the AmaLea, which launched this year. Additionally, AmaWaterways operates one ship on the Mekong River in Vietnam and Cambodia and offers safari sailings on the Zambezi Queen in Botswana. In 2019, AmaWaterways will have three new European river ships, including its river megaship, the AmaMagna, which will be twice as wide as its current ships, allowing for larger staterooms and more space for the common areas. This year the company expanded its wellness program, offering multiple fitness classes each day on six ships.
